Kristin was raised in the small north western Arizona town where her parents and youngest sister still live. She is the oldest of 6 kids: five girls and one boy right in the middle. All of her siblings still live in the west, but are spread out between five different states. The only thing Kristin doesn't like about living in Oregon is how far away from home it is. We visit Arizona once or twice a year, but she wishes it was a lot more often than that.

Alan was raised in Oregon - in the town we live in now! He is the 4th of six kids: three boys and three girls. We are very blessed to live ten minutes away from Alan's parents and love having Sunday dinner with them every week. Alan's siblings and their families are spread across the whole country. We get together for family reunions every other year, but wish we could see each other more often. There are 17 grandchildren on Alan's side and Spencer loves to play with his cousins whenever he gets the chance.
